To the decendents of Alexander Whaley. A male in our family is having his DNA testing done, so that we will have proof if our Whaley's and the Edisto are related. I remember a gentleman what was researching in SC for Alexander Whaley. If someone on that side would like to compare DNA when we have the results, it might help pinpoint which Whaley's Alexander came down. Lynn Haltiwanger
Lynn, Which Alexander Whaley is that? On our Oldest Whaley Ancestor List there are two: Alexander Whaley (m. Abigail Leverich), 1748 - 1833 Alexander Whaley, Sr. (m. Ruth McAnally), 1789/90 - 1850 If you'll shoot me which one, I can pull up all of the names of people who are connected to him. Of course, we need to update that list, so the fellow you're looking for MIGHT not be there, but it would be a start. : ) Carolyn On Jul 2, 2006, at 3:52 PM, lhalti@comcast.net wrote: > To the decendents of Alexander Whaley.
