Carolyn and everyone, I am involved with a group of Bentley researchers with lines going back to Amelia County and Richmond County, including the Daniel Bentley and David (?) mentioned below in what I assume is a codicil to the original 1749 will of James Whaley. I am curious if anyone knows what the kinship relationship, if any, is between the Whaleys and the Bentleys, and the Hillmans as well. I note that one of the Whaleys went to Bourbon Co. KY. I am curious if any further information on the later migration of descendants of these Whaleys is known.
