The great thing about genealogy is we can have a healthy debate about how many angels fit on the head of a pin...but we can't ask the protagonists the truth...so we'll never really know! There is an old joke about a woman in horrible labor and her husband by her side who is supposed to feel all of her pain intensely. But he gets through it just fine. They arrive home to find the mailman dead on the doorstep! Haha...Our ancestors were just as human as we are...and there will be secrets that will never be revealed. So there is no reason to get riled about any of it. Our Grandfathers and grandmothers would just think there was another nut in the family tree and have a good laugh. Especially them Whaleys!
