I have a copy of the IGI for Elijah Whaley that shows Thomas as his father. It was submitted by Mary Murdock. Her e-mail address last year was: [email protected] I don't know if it's the same now because that was when she was away from home caring for her brother. Perhaps she can tell us which of her listed sources pertain to Thomas. For sources she lists: Sixth W.S. census 1840 D-Klb Co., Tenn (GS ser #58611 pt 2081). Seventh W.S. Census 1850 D-Klb Co. Tenn. Whaley fam bible in poss of Thomas G. Webb, Rt.#1, Box 5 Smithville, Tenn 37166. Smith fam bible in poss of Mrs. Paul Williams, 1210 Greenfield Ave. Nashville Tenn. 37261.
