I just printed out the Digests that George sent to 'catch me up' after my forced absence. I noticed the entries about Theophilus. For your information, Jackie has prepared some data from many sources and it is about "6 men named Theophilus". I have it typed but it is two pages long and I started putting it in e-mail, but something happened to part of it during my *absence.* So... to save me some time, I will offer it by attachment. If you are descended from a Theophilus, it would be nice to have this data. I also have 4 FGSs for Theophilus-- Theophilus and Mills Theophilus and Burdick Theophilus and Kilbourn Theopilus and Tripp (This one is the most recent one to be typed onto disk.) I also have a paper re the Joane who was the unmarried dau of Theophilus (Mills). She had a son Lawrence, and he was called a Whaley, so some hookups to Theophilus may come from her son. Ruby
