To Joy Woods and Nita Irvine---and other WSPers. Jackie Weeden has been working with Joy and Nita because they both descend from John and Mary Airheart. One of John's sons is Henry A. who married Amanda McMillan. Nita is in a panic because someone has now told her that Henry A. is the son of William M. of Sevier Co TN, who had wife Mary Ogle! I looked in the Smoky Mountain Web and yes, there it is-- Alexander Whaley and Abigail Leverich parents of Wm. M. and wife Ogle! Wm M. and Mary Ogle parents of Henry A. and wife McMillan! So that makes two mistakes regarding William M. His father was not the Alexander who mar Leverich, and he is not the father of a Henry A. According to Donald Reagan's book "Smoky Mountain Clan, Volume III" William M. had 15 children and not one was named Henry A.! Henry A. was b in Rhea Co TN in 1826 and mar Amanda in Knox Co TN 1849 and they DID live in Sevier Co TN according to the 1850 Co census. He was in Cooke Co TX in 1860 living with his brother Hercules. (Henry A. had a grandfather named Hercules, a brother named Hercules and a son named Hercules.) He and Amanda ended up in Cooke Co and Clay Co TX in 1880. There must be some way to delete erroneous material from a web. It really causes trouble with researchers who are trying to follow the rules in recreating their families. Please help! rlnsd
