Group- It doesn't take much to stir things up when it comes to Edward's lineage, particularly Edward Wale vs. Edward Whalley the regicide. William Whaley's comparison, as usual, was helpful and interesting. Is Barton's book available for any of us who might be interested in getting a copy? I also would like to get the address to contact Barton's son, per William's offer. I believe that there are as yet undiscovered records for the English Whalleys/Whaleys that may help shed some light on dates and children. Published data I have seen for the English Whaley's seems to be pretty consistant on dates and children. It either means that the information given is completely accurate or that all the information on dates comes from the same root source. I tend to believe the latter. But that is why we pursue this facinating hobby, is it not? Robert Whaley
