Wayne- Thanks for the information. It looks like it's time for a trip to RI. One of my business clients is located in Cranston and I am due to make a trip by fall anyway. I will stop and see what I can find, although I hold out little hope of any new discoveries since this ground has been trod upon by many before me. I am working a number of angles, on both sides of the Atlantic, but the Whaleys were a slippery bunch. I am going to have to make an extended trip to Richmond, VA, since I haven't been able to get the Theo info from the Virginia State Library that I have been looking for. I believe the Virginia/RI connection holds the best hope for any new discoveries regarding the American Theo. Bob Whaley
