I have very little information and none of the listed Whaleys appear to be any relation to the long list what was sent to me. Below is a direct descendants list.. I. Peter WHALEY b. abt 1786 in Ireland. m.Mary Ann ? b. about 1795 in Ireland. Appeared in 1850 census of Town of Benton, Lafayette Co., WI. Peter died June 21, 1874, Mary Ann died March 23, 1863, both are buried in Benton, WI. Know of two sons. II. Patrick WHALEY b. abt 1821 in Ireland. m. Anna "Ann" MORROW b. abt 1824 Ireland. Patrick died April 14, 1898, Ann died Oct 6, 1897. Had approximately seven children. III. Mary Ann WHALEY b. March 10, 1851 WI. m. James V. BAXTER (1852-1919) on June 6, 1876 Benton, WI. d. July 3, 1906 Benton, WI. Had six children IV. Thomas A. BAXTER 1878-1929 Benton, WI m. Clara A. CASSIDY (1879-1965). Had eight children. V. Calista BAXTER (1913-1977) m. Leo E. ACKERMAN (1910-1993) Had 5 children. I am trying to complete the siblings of of Mary Ann Whaley Baxter and her ancestors that lived Lafayette Co.,WI.
