The oldest Whaley ancestor we have is: James Whaley christened 24 Jul 1806 in Clayton, Yorkshire, England Married 6 Aug 1828 to: Mary Greenwood born 12 Oct 1805 in Clayton, Yorkshire,England Their daughter Emma Whaley born 19 Sep 1834 in Clayton, Yorkshire, England Emma emigrated to the US. She married 13 Jun 1859 at Boston, Suffolk, Ma to: William Lot Webster born 31 Oct 1834 at Sandy Ln Bottom, Yorkshire, England. They moved west with the Mormons to Utah. They ended up in Franklin, Oneida, Id where both died. We are descended from their son Alfred Whaley Webster.
