Hi everyone, I want to introduce my family to the WSP. I haven't been researching this side of my family for long, but I have a fair start. The earliest member of my Whaleys is Alexander Whaley, b in TN (I think) and d 1863 in Blount Co. AL. He married Ruth J. McAnally in 1812 in TN. They had the following children: Harriet Eliza Whaley 1813-1828 married William Buck Thomas 1828 William Earnest Whaley, Sr. 1814- married Mary A. Waites 1864 John W. Whaley 1815- married Nancy Ann Pannell 1838 Jane Whaley 1817- married William Hogeland 1834 Elijah H. Whaley 1819- married Sarah Ratliff 1840 Catherine Whaley 1821- married Elijah Whaley McAnally 1841 Alexander Whaley, Jr. 1822- married Debby Ann McPherson 1842 Phelix R. Whaley 1824- married Nancy Swindell 1843 Ira W. Whaley 1830- married --- 1851 James Elgin Whaley 1832- married Rebecca J. Nobles 1851 They had the following children: Ira Whaley John Whaley Sam Whaley Alexander Whaley Ruthie Whaley Rene Whaley Leonard Claude Whaley I desend from Leonard Whaley portion of the family.
