Hi, You have found the Hannah Whaley I am searching for. Hannah Annette Whaley (11/17/1852-8/2/1926) married Henry William Thacker (8/25/1848)-4/18/1925) on October 23, 1871. They are my great-grandparents. Hannah is definitely the sister of Rev. Arthur George Whaley (1851-1937), who was Vicar of Wakefield from 1885 until 1927. I believe she is also the sister of William Jabez Whaley (b. 1856) and Samuel Whaley. Henry and Hannah had four children in England, came to America in 1882, and had seven more children here, including my grandmother, Laura Thacker. Henry and Hannah died in Cleveland, Ohio, and are buried in Lake View Cemetery. Hannah's death certificate shows her father to be Henry Whaley, and her mother to be Mary. It is Henry Whaley I need information on. Perhaps the Anglican Church could be of some help. I have information on most of the Thacker offspring (some descendants live nearby), if anyone is interested. I also have a photograph of Rev. Whaley, if anyone needs a copy.
