Hi everyone, Sorry the last one was so long, that's why I thought I should finish up on a new mail!! On a separate sheet of paper included in this photo album is a hand written lineage. This is what it says: Peter Whaley Sr. 1779-1860 <Eva's great-grandfather only son of Seth Whaley 1754-1823 & Hester Baker Whaley 1758-1834. **************************** Seth Whaley, son of Elias Whaley **************************** Elias Whaley, son of Nathaniel Whaley ***************************** Nathaniel Whaley son of Mary Middleton Whaley (Sister of Sir George Middleton) and Major General Edward Whaley. Known in England as Lord Whalley--one of the three judges--???? to America, about 1660. ******************************* Peter Whaley Sr. and Elizabeth Davis Whaley married Nov. 21, 1816. Children born to them (copied from Whaley Bible) James Whaley Sep. 21, 1817 Hester Ann Whaley, Oct.7, 1819 Seth Mitchell Whaley, Dec. 17, 1821 Mary Elizabeth Whaley, Feb. 8, 1824, (Eva's grandmother) Maria Catherine Whaley, July 14, 1826 Edward Thomas Whaley, May 6, 1829 Peter Whaley, 2nd, Aug. 6, 1831 ************************************** Well folks, that's all this handwritten lineage has on it. I don't know if this connects to my Whalen family or not. I don't know how it came to be in Nevada and it does not say who wrote it. Have a great one!
