    3. Nancy, Nellie Jane Whaley is my husband's grandmother who was born in Grindstone Mi, July 26, 1887 up at the tip of the thumb, Her parents Myron Henry and Jennie C. Wade were married in East Cleveland, Ohio. Myron was born in New York and Jennie I have not been successful in finding anything more about. I have found out more about Myron's folks and have found a picture of Myron and his family in the family album. Nellie had 2 brothers and 1 sister, A brother named Carlos, it has been noted in the family papers he may have died in a Detroit Hotel fire, and brother Clarence Wilson Whaley married Mary Moore. Nellie's sister's name was Ida, who married John Tomlinson. She died in Jackson, MI at a Medical Care Facility there at the age of 92. I was very close to my grandmother. She told me that her father was Joseph Walter Whaley and his father was Warren W or S Whaley. I have never been able to find a death record or burial for him, although I know he died in 1874, again near Montgomery, MI. I have check Ohio and Indiana records as well as MI and have hit a brick wall. She also told me Warren's father was named Runnals. I believe this is also spelled Reynolds, and his mother's name was Lydia and that he was from Wyoming Co., NY. I really don't have anything on a Nellie in any of my records, but I do know there is another researcher in the Whaley lines from Jackson. I believe her first name was Phyllis, but I can't remember her last name. She belonged to the Jackson Co., Gen. Soc though. And she was working on another Warren Whaley. You might want to contact her. A lot of our Whaley lines were from Indiana, I believe, also. For instance, John Whaley, Joseph's brother. Thanks for answering. I shall keep Nellie in my mind and if I run across her I shall e-mail you.
