    3. Mike, THIS George was b. 26 June 1773, Loudoun Co, VA to the "infamous" James Whaley and his second wife, Ann Carter. He md. ca 1805 in Fairfax Co, VA an Ann Turley b. ca 1778, Loudoun Co, dau. of Charles Turley and Ann Cockrell. They had, according to an LDS submission, these children: James H. b. ca 1806 Benedict b. ca 1807 Charles A. b. ca 1813 Alexander b. ca 1814 George W. b. can 1815 Gilson Rainey b. ca 1817 Elizabeth Linton b. ca 1821 When George's father, (James b. 1728) wrote his will in 1784, George was under age, but a bequest was given: 120 acres to son George plus 200 acres on the "Kentucky and western waters" AND, then he wrote: Codicil in case my son George should die before he reaches lawful age, at decease of my wife estate to be divided between my Children John, Wm., Elizabeth Sears, Barbara Talbot and Jane Ellis. 11th July 1784. This is about all I have on this branch of the family as it isn't mine. I thought it was for years, thus the compilation I made before I found I was barking up the wrong tree! : ) Keep searchin', Carolyn Carolyn Whaley Vosburg Houston, TX On Nov 30, 2006, at 9:23 PM, sosdrummer@comcast.net wrote: > Carolyn, >   > Who is George Whaley born in Loudoun Co., VA ca 1770,  last son of > James Jr.2 Whaley (James1) was born in New Kent Co., VA 19 Jul 1728?  >   >  Here is the full link. > http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~unab22/other.htm >   >   > Does anyone know where this George went?
