Hi Bob, I'm Mike Whaley, admin for the Whaley Surname Project, You are right, none of the 3 tested are related but we hope to change that with more people getting tested. The first person (James Sr.) listed on the Patriarch page has not been tested. Once they are they will be assigned a W#. Anyone can post their pedigree and I will post it to the Patriarchs page tested or not. The Results page is people who have been tested. W-1 was tested a long time before I got involved with World Family Networks and Family Tree DNA. I have had no contact with him. He is not listed on the Patriarchs page. No one born after 1910 is listed on the Patriarchs page for confidentiality of living individuals. I am just a voluteer to help this DNA testing come together. I am also the Whaley whose line is from George Powell b. 1775 SC. W-2. I hope it's not too confusing but we didn't want people to post only if they bought a test kit. W-4 will be posted to the Pedigree and Patriarch page as soon as he sends in his info.
