Graveside services for Georgie Whaley Davis, 81, of Lanett, AL, formerly of Wedowee, AL, will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy East officiating and Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. The family will receive friends Saturday after 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis died Friday at her home. Survivors include three sons, Leo Whaley of Griffin, Ga., Earl Whaley of Lanett, and James Leroy Whaley of Grayson, Ga.; a sister, Mary Jo Edmondson of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Josh McCormick of Wedowee; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Davis was a native of Randolph County. She was a homemaker and was a member of Union Baptist Church.
