Cooper in Virginia wth the consent of MARY my Wife for the valluable consideration of One thousand pounds of Tobacco with cask received or secured to me by Bill to be paid anno domo 1673 have for me my heirs and executors sould unto CHRISTOPHER HARGALL of the County abovesaid his heirs and assigns forever one parcell of land being in the County abovesaid being sixty acres or thereabouts which is part of a parcell of land formerly purchased of Collonel GOODRICH by me the said JOHN WELLS and is bounded as followeth wth RICHARD NITINGALLs SPRING BRANCH runing up the branch till it meets with PHILIP SANDERS his line of marked trees and runing upon the said line untill it meets with JOHN MILLS his line thence upon the said line to a marked white Oake belonging to JOHN MILLS and ANTHONY NORTH from thence upon a line runing over the MILL ROAD untill it meets with the said NITINGALLs SPRING BRANCH to have and to hold with all appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said CHRISTOPHER HARGALL his heirs and assignes forever wth general warranty without lett or molestation of me the said JOHN WELLS my heirs or assignes or any other person whatsoever and further I the said JOHN WELLS doe promise to confirm the said land by acknowledgement in the Court held for Rappa with the acknowledgement of my Wife MARY to the true performance whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the 22d of October 1672 Testes HENRY TANDLEY, JOHN WELLS THEOPHILUS WEALE, MARY WELLS Recognit in Cu: Com Rappa 10 die January 1672 KNOW ALL MEN that I MARY WELLS doe hereby constitute and appoont my friend EDMUND CRASK for me and in my name place and stead to acknowledge at the next Court held for Rappa County the sale of a parcell of land sold by my Husband JOHN WELLS unto CHRISTOPHER HARGALL and what my said Attorney shall do in the premises I doe hereby ratifie and confirm as if I were personally present as Witness my hand and seale this 27th of Deceinber 1672 Test THOMAS GORDAN, MARGARET WELLS EDW. KEELING Recordatr xx die January 1672/3 Pp 116 -117 July Court 73 KNOW ALL MEN that I GEORGE MORIS of the County of NEW KENT have granted and set over unto DANIEL SULLIVANT all my right and interest of two hundred acres of land joyning to a parcell of land formerly taken up betweene me the Subscribed and JOHN LORD bounded as folloveth beginning at Mr. PLEYs Corner Tree in the back line runing by marked trees We. So. We. to a white Oake and thence No. for the Length parallel to the first and second line to the back line of the aforesaid devident to have and hold the said land withall proffitts whatsoever to him the said DANIEL SULLIVANT and his heirs or assigns forever without the molestation of any person vhatsoever that shall lay claime to any part of the said two hundred acres of land and to acknowledge this sale at the charge of the said SULLIVANT in Court being at any time thereunto required. In Testimony have hereunto sett my hand this 5thdayofJuly 1671 in presence of us THOMAS FRESHWATER GEORGE MORRIS ( ) Recognit in Cu Corn Rappa 5 die July 1671 KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I DANIEL SULLIVANT for Two thousand pounds of Tobacco by me received in hand by bills doe assigne and sell from me my heirs or assigns forever unto JOHN MASTERS his heirs or assigns forever all my right and title of the within mentioned land by Conveyance with all appurtenances in as ample manner as it is within mentioned with generall warranty from all persons whatsoever as Witness my hand and seale this 13th of Januarie 1672 in presence of THEOPHILUS WHEALE DANlEL SWELLIVANT Recognit in Cu Corn Rappa Sixto May 1673 I DANIEL SWELLIVANT doe authorize and appoint THEOPHILUS WHEALE my Lawfull Attorney to acknowledge two hundred acres of land to JOHN MASTERS which I purchased of Mr MORRIS as Witness my hand and seale this 2d of May 1673 Testes WILLAM BENBERRY DANIEL SWELLIVANT NATHANIEL AYRES I MARY SWELLIVANT do by these presents appoint Mr. CRASK my lawfull Attorney to acknowledge to JOHN MASTERS my right and title of a parcell of land wch my Husband DANIEL SWELLIVANT sold to the said MASTERS containing Two hundred acres of land purchased of Mr. MORRIS as Witness my hand and seale this 22d of April 1673 Testis THEOPHILUS WHEALE, MARY SWILLIVANT THOMAS MONDAY, NATHANIELL AYRES
