Hello WSP My Whaley cousin at last visited with over 100 letters and documents pertaining to the Whaleys, Romans and Gastons last month. It has taken me until today to put my head together to sort through the multiple piles. Interestingly, there are a number of references to Jackie Weeden, dating back a decade or two! Found a reference to Seth -- not a historical document, but handwritten. I may be perpetuating misinfo here but thought before I put it away I would post it and a few other things to the WSP: Seth M. Mar 26 1890 Mary born Sept. 8, 1837 in a log hous on Sith's Creek, a fork of Indian Creek in Hardin Co. Tenn. Seth b. July 18, 1829 in DeKalb Co. on Clear Creek Tenn. Children of Seth and first wife: Thomas, James, Lemuel, John. Second brief marriage, no children Third marriage to Mary Ross of eastern Tenn: children George A., Eliza, Sarah, Mattie, Cara, Ancil.
