I've been a member of the WSP for about a year but my e-mail address changed and so has my oldest ancestor thanks to this list. My gg grandfather was John C. Whaley b. 4/15/1786, Essex, VT, d. 11/10/1852, Gorham, Fulton Co. Ohio. He married Matilda Collins in 1816 in NY, b. 9/18/1799, Greenfield, MI, d. 11/23/1878 Morenci, MI. I'm descended from one of his sons, Otis Butler Whaley, b. 3/18/1819, Cato, NY. I would love to hear about the Vermont and Ohio Whaleys from Keith Whaley. John C.
