Hello, I'd like to share the clues I have concerning my CRUMBIE (possibly originally ABERCROMBIE??) family. I don't know where in Scotland they originated. James was born in Scotland c1733/34 (from age at death.) He and his brother Robert (year of birth unknown) emigrated to Pennsylvania, USA c1770 where they later married. Brother William and "several other brothers" apparently stayed in Scotland. One (unnamed) sister married in Scotland about 1770 and then emigrated with her husband to Nova Scotia, Canada. I've tried the IGI but can't find all the names in one place at about the right time. If you might be linked with this family, I'd be very glad to hear from you. Thanks!
