Dear List, GG/Father John McLerie b 30 Oct 1841 given as born in Paisley. married Jessie Brown of Perth b 13 April 1842 at St.James Bermondsey.county of Surrey 12 Feb 1866 both of full age.Cert 446 Page 223.They arrived in Brisbane.Queensland by ship Gauntlet 1873 with 3 children.on to Sydney 1894 Father was noted as Thomas McLerie a Journeyman Shoemaker mother as Mary Dolan. These details given in marriage certificate by son.Also given in Johns death certificate in Newtown Sydney 1913 Jessie died 1933. Camperdown Sydney. His son my G/Father Thomas John m Catherine Farrell 1895 went to Perth Western Australia as pioneers he was a Studio Photographer. An agent has not had any sucess looking at Parish records.
