Hi, Saw this post on Jane Alexander . I have a Jane Alexander in my line that was married to a Charles Sturrock. She isn't on the 1881 census records and I thought she may have died,now I am wondering if maybe yours could possibly be the same. The only thing I have on her is the names of the children.
