Hello Chris, I have a long line of Irwins (Irwine, Irvin, Irvine) from Co. Donegal and Co. Tyrone, Ireland. What do you have on Irvin? Diane, Thanks for the email! Even lots of files on my computer don't prevent me from losing messages. Sorry it's taken so long to respond. The only thing I know about the Irvin in my family is that her name was Mary and she was born abt. 1797. She married my ggggrandfather, John Magill and they lived in central Pennsylvania - around what is now Altoona. John was a farmer. John's father, Rev. Hugh Magill, was born in Co. Down and preached in Co. Tyrone. He was Presbyterian. As you can see, I know a lot more about his side of the family than hers!!! Do you have any information on the origin of the Irvin name? Thanks for taking the time to respond to my email.
