Gosh, I think that you have found my ancestors! It seems too easy to be true . the relevance ofAppin Argyllshire is that the only Scottish document that I have is the birth certificate of Anna Murray MACNEILL and it lists Appin Argyllshire in the district of Bothwell in the county of Lanark. It gives the date of Peter and Susans marriage as Sept,1883.There is another word that I can't decipher-Faenaellich or Faenacloich?I do not know what that refers to.The document states that Anna MACNEILL was born in Calderbraes,near Uddingston.It also gives the occupation of Peter as"Sawyer".Do you know what that means? Do you think from this further documentation that these facts fit with what you have sent me? I really do appreciate your help and knowledge.
