Hi, vicki Do you live in Johnstown now? I am a REAL novice in genealogy research and find that I am spinning my wheels.There are no living relatives to inquire of that can remember anything this far back. I know that my great grandparents are buried in St. Johns cemetary(RC) in Johnstown as I was there two weeks ago and found the gravestone.I also know that they were born in Scotland and imigrated to Johnstown around1900-1910 but then things get muddy. I would like to obtain copies of their death certificates so that I can find out their parents name and be able to go back one more generation. I will probably be able to obtain them from the county seat? Any help or knowledge woiuld be appreciated.
