    3. Hello All, Since this surname is being discussed now, I'll mention my connection (by marriage.) Apparently the ancestor of my aunt's husband was a James CRUMBIE who left Scotland c1770 along with a sister. I don't know the sister's forename or married name. James went to the US (Philadelphia, PA) and the sister went to Nova Scotia, Canada. (I don't know if the sister was married at this time.) I know this is sketchy information for now but hoped someone (particularly in the US or Canada) might know of a connection.
