Hi Phil, Thanks for answering my letter. Please tell the island CARMICHAEL`s about my family line.It is possible there may be a connection. There are a lot of CARMICHAEL`s.They had large families back then. Incidentally, a George McDougall was a witness tothe marr. of my G.Gr.John and Jane CARMICHAEL inAncroft Eng. in 1812.Any chance this is a distant relative of yours? Nobody answered abt. the Breadalbane Castle in Sct. where I think the CARMICHAEL`slived in the early 1700`s.I will try again and hope. Good hunting to you. Regards, BettyC.P. Fl.
