    2. Hello Pam: I looked at the LDS site which is below: http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp using 'British Isles, all countries' as the region, and found this entry which may be your family. It's a little off in terms of the dates - how old was he in the 1851 census and where was he living at the time of the census. James OXBERRY Sex: M Marriage(s): Spouse: Ellen BRAITHWAITE Marriage: 7 Aug 1862 Saint Mary Bishophill Senior, York, Yorkshire, England Source Information: Batch number: Dates Source Call No. Type Printout Call No. Type M071854 1754-1868 1068535 Film 6903169 Film Sheet: If this is the right one you may be able to track down this marriage record at your nearby local LDS Family History Centre and find out his parents' names, and addresses, depending on what is shown on the English records. Then once you know his parents' names you may be able to trace the birth record of James. You may wish to repost your query giving a little more detail if you have it, and other listers may be able to make other suggestions. Happy hunting.
