Hi I am searching for Robert Todd DEAN ( 1790 approx.) and Swan Downer ( believed to be brothers but very unsure of that) Robert married Janet McKay. They had a son Robert Todd DEAN. They came to Canada ( unsure when ) . We thought they came from the Dumfries area but so far no replies to my queries. Is there a way I can find Robert Todd DEAN ? I have very little info on Swan Downer DEAN. Any info would be greatly appreciated Thanks Terry Canada

The TODD as a middle name seems to connect with the mother's name - not proof but a start perhaps.
