I don't know where his family came from Erskine - Charlotte born around the mid 1800's and Isabella Erskine, her mother Harkness - John born 1st March 1985 Irons - Elizabeth and her parents. She was born c 1778 Kidd - Janet married James Crichton 1809 (I think) Moon - Alexander, a blacksmith, born 1773 and his parents Rennie - Janet. She married William Russell. Son's name James Rennie Russell born 1862 Russell - William, son James Turpin -Mary Anne married William Jamison Does anyone know? Is Cheeseman mainly an English name? Regards Ruby
