    3. Kevin: A little earlier than the timeframe you mentioned, but look for "The 1916 Handbook." It was published right after the Easter Rising, consisting of material from newspaper articles etc. of the era. It has been re-published and should be available at Amazon. COM. In addition to recounting a lot of the story, details of executions etc., there are lists of detainees sent to various British camps, along with actual street addresses. I was actually able to find my father's uncles, no doubt about identity, because their addresses on John Street, Enniscorthy, were included. I also located what appears to be a listing for an uncle on my mother's side living at a specific address in Dublin. The lists are by date, so you may have to do some wading through all of it, but it may be worth it. If you can locate somebody who was detained in 1916, you might get leads either forward or backward. (I showed the lists to my 81 year-old father, who is from Enniscorthy. It was like a trip down memory lane, he knew many of the men when he was a boy. He was also surprised to learn that some of them had been detained - they never mentioned it. And, he saw a number of names that he recognized as continuing through the Civil War and beyond.......) I imagine that there will have been a lot of detail recorded as to relations and associates of persons under official notice - Kevin Byrne ______________________________
