I am always interested in checking the info I have. One of my "greats" was GEORGE WHITMORE CARR, born May 19, 1779 at Ardross (spelling - ?? ) ; New Ross, Co. Wexford, IR.; died January 27, 1849 at Camlin,New Ross, Co. Wexford, IR. He married , in Kilkenny, CHARLOTTE SHAW abt. 1785 at Sandpits, Co. Kilkenny, IR. She died July 6, 1848. They had 9 children.
