Is this any good to you Patricia?: Co. Wexford: The Townland of Ardross, consists of 5 acres, in the Barony of Bantry, in the Civil Parish of St. Mary's in the New Ross PLU. Parish Records: Marriages from 1789 with a few breaks in them, Baptisms from 1859 and Deaths from 1794 on film no. 4259 and no. 4260 at The NLI or Wexford Library. Older versions of the records (originals) might still be held in the local custody of the Priest. The Townland of Camlin, consists of 578 acres, in the Barony of Bantry, Civil Parish OLD ROSS, in the New Ross PLU. Parish Records: Baptisms from Jan. 1759, Marriages from 1752 and Burials from 1794 held on film no. 4259 at the NLI possibly Wexford Library (I've not done much research in the Old Ross area). Co. Kilkenny: The Townland of Sandpits, consists of 158 Acres, in the Barony of Iverk, Civil Parish of Fiddown, in the PLU of Carrick-on-Suir. By the time of Griffiths' Valuation, the only SHAW showing in the Civil Parish of Fiddown was a John SHAW living in the Townland of Templeorum, consisting of 252 acres, other details as above. Both the Townlands of Sandpits and Templeorum come under the RC Parish of Fiddown also but it's possible you would need the records for Mooncoin as Fiddown Records come under this as the main RC Parish. Parish records: Carrigeen and Mooncoin. Baptisms from 1779, Marriages from 1772 but no Burials. On film no. 5018 at the NLI excluding those held in local custody by the Priests. slan Cyril Newsome Loch Garman... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marion McDonald" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 28, 2006 10:37 PM Subject: Re: [WEX] Burial in Wexford > I am always interested in checking the info I have.
