    3. Hello Margaret: I have a Bridget Redmond, who was married in Wexford in 1833 to a John Doyle. This sums up pretty much all I know about her. They had two daughters that I know of, Margaret born 1849 and Mary born 1845 in Wexford (Do not even know the town in Wex) Could this be any connection to your Helen or Ellen? 3. Thank you for that information. The trouble is that there are a lot of Redmonds and I haven't been able to trace that far back. I'll keep a note of those names though. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marilyn Shanahan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Saturday, April 01, 2006 6:57 PM Subject: Re: [WEX] Redmond > Hello Margaret: > I have a Bridget Redmond, who was married in Wexford in 1833 to a John > Doyle. 3. Hello Cyril. I looked up a map of Wexford and discovered three different places spelled like yours and now I'm not sure which one is correct. I was only going on the way it was pronounced to me, so yes, your spelling is probably right. 3. Hello again Cyril... You know, it was Margaret, the last threaded message on this line, that asked about Ballinruin in Wexford. I do not know what town my Redmonds came from in Wexford, and was inquiring of her, what information she might have as to whether we had a connection of Redmonds. Maybe she could clarify which townland she was referring to. Thanks for your interest. 3. Margaret asked was there a Ballyruin in Wexford? Cyril said are you sure its not Ballyrooaun? Cara says technically Margaret is correct slightly off in her spelling, after all Margaret only wrote what she heard . well done Margaret it was close and close was good enough in this case. Cyril who should know better is way off in his spelling, and should be paying more attention to his history and not messing with four emails at once. Ballyruan is a Townland the irish name being Baile and Ruain ( townland of the Buckwheat -thrift) it is in the civil parish of Templetown Barony of Shelburne Union of New Ross and the DED is Templeton Ballyruane being in the same civil parish same barony same Union but in the DED of Tintern DED= District Electoral Division.
