Marie, There is no facility at any of the Wexford Libraries to undertake research by the staff. You could try by contacting somewhere like The Balch Institute for Immigration Research, in Philadelphia. The Dunbrody Project in New Ross e-mail to: [email protected] or see their website at: www.dunbrody.com has a database of Immigrants from New Ross on Computer and also sells Discs of the Database. slan Cyril Newsome Loch Garman ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marie Fraser" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, June 27, 2006 3:55 AM Subject: [WEX] Research on ships > I am trying to find somewone who will do some library or archive research for me on the ships which went between New Ross and Newfoundland, PEI and Nova Scotia in the early 1800's I tried the various Wexford libraries, but never received an answer. Does anyone have the Database Discs? It appears from the website that the material is on immigrants to all ports in the US. Canada is not mentioned.
