    3. Marilyn, You're partially right - Ballyprecas is 943 acres and in St. Mary's... but not Enniscorthy, civil parish. It's St. Mary's, Newtownbarry civil parish (the Seanruad website is wrong on this one - and maybe the original book, too). Ballyprecas is located just a mile south of Bunclody, on the Carlow border. It caused me a doubletake, too. My first thought was that it was an alternative name for Enniscorthy townland, which is 934 acres. I said, "OK, someone's reversed the last two figures".     3. Thanks Pete. I thought there was some thing amiss. So many "Bally" towns. What is Enniscorthy called, in relation to Ballprecas, or are they not involved with each other at all? Been to Enniscorthy, but did not locate a Ballyprecas. Now I know why..... Someone should change the original book location.
