I am trying to find a marriage of Nicholas Power c 1853 in Chapel, Kilmore, Wexford. Nicholas married Anastasia whose surname has been variously spelt Cuzens, Cirson, Cousins. Some in the family feel that she may have been married before and her first married name may have been Harpur or Harper, Could anyone out there help to clear up this mystery please. On the 1853 Griffiths Valuations there is an Anastasia Harpur (widow) listed, as is Nicholas Powerat a separate address. The first child that we know of was born in 1854. Hi Val. I have the following information Nicholas Power 1828 Wexford M. Anastasia Cousins 1829, they had at least 4 children Catherine 1851,James 1854, John 1855 and Walter 1861. I will have another look for more information, but I have to go now as my son is being married in a couple of hours!!
