Hi Maureen, Don't know if these are your couple, but here goes... Brian (Bryan) Kavanagh married Bridget Murphy 10 August 1826 in the R.C. Church in Kilaveny/Annacorra. witnesses to the Marriage were Luke Kehoe, Patrick Murphy and Laurence Kavanagh. This record was transcribed from microfilm # 4257 at the National Library in Dublin. I also have a Brian Cavanagh married to Mary Carty in 1830 Married in Ballyoughter R.C. Church. I have a Brian Kavanagh and Mary Dempsey of Kilanerin who Baptized Elizabeth, Anne, blank, John, Mary, Alice, Catherine between 1807 and 1821. These couples might be too early for your use, but you can get a clue as to where they might have come from in Wexford. Who knows, maybe they are you next generation back, if they followed a naming pattern. I'm going back and forth between transcriptions for Kilaveny/Annacorra from microfilm and Kilanerin digital records, so I may have more of these Cavanagh/Kavanaghs later in the year (I'm only up to F in Kilanerin and 1850 on Kilaveny/Annacorra). Good luck, Peggy In a message dated 2/4/2009 3:20:58 A.M.
