Hi! This is my first time posting a message here, so if i make mistakes, hope you will understand. I have John Sinnott born in Co Wexford (don't know exactly wehre though) about 1841. He married Elizabeth White April 24, 1856 in Rathagan Parish. They had: Johanna(1866), Mary Ellen(1867) Nicholas(1871*) and Alex(1872. They were born in Co Wexford . The family then immigrated to San Rafael Ca in 1874 and had William about 1875. and Nellie in 1876 or so. Nicholas is my link to the Sinnott's. He married Ann Maude Thorpe(or Maude Ann Thorpe) and settled in the Santa Cruz, Santa Clara and or San Jose areas. Nick died at his home in Santa Cruz on June 6 1954. His wife had died in 1944. Their children were: John T Sinnott, Marjorie (Sinnott) Dellamonica Dorothy A(Sinnott) Winterhalder Martin J (or Morton) of Los Angeles and Nick of Eureka When Nick died he left his children, 11 gradnchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Nick may have had uncles by the names of Patrice, and James, and an aunt named Alice. Sinnott. I'm telling this information in hopes that someone will connect, but also to learn if anyone has any information about this family before they immigrated from Co Wexford to USA. Who were John Sinnotts parents and sibblings, did they marry, to whom, did they immigrate etc and basically same information for Elizabeth White. Sorry to be so long winded here. barbara
