I don't know anything about that particular corps, but if they were made up of Wexford men, they were most likely stationed outside of Wexford, and therefore wouldn't have had anything to do with the '98 rebellion in Wexford. The Yeomen who were involved in '98 were mostly from Cork. Yeomanry corps didn't serve in their home counties to prevent loyalties from being divided.
