Hello Peggy I have been following with interest all the emails backwards and forwards with regards to Brien/Bryans around the same area I have been trying to find information on. I have been trying to trace a Thomas and Mary Lett (nee Shea) - farmer and they had one son at least that I know of, namely Nathaniel Lett. In your records do you have any Letts. I presume they were Church of Ireland as they weren't Catholics. Nathaniel came over to Australia in 1860 when he was 22 (according to the records), so he could have been born around the 1830's. Thanking you in advance. Annie Australia
Hi Annie - lots of LETTs in Wexford in the Griffiths, including a Thomas in Newtown, Kilmuckridge, Wexford; one in Ballyvadden, Kilmuckridge; and one in Clonleigh. Not a definite lead but might help in finding the relevant COI records.
