    1. Re: [WEXFORD] WEXFORD Digest, Vol 4, Issue 98 Wexford library
    2. I just had to agree with Judy, WEXFORD library is the best in Ireland and very probably the world!! I have lived in lots of countries and have never known such a group of dedicated librarians, they do everything within their power to help and are so friendly, it makes one proud to have had ancestors from Wexford. When I was there, I not only had help from the librarians but also local people who found my GGGrandfathers service record in Dublin and arrived with it at the library the following day, he had over heard? my conversation with one of the librarians and wanted to help. What a star. I loved Ireland and there was something very magical about sitting in pew at the old church in Oulart, where my forefathers had been christened. I hope as many of you as possible, who are researching their family history will get a chance to visit. My GGGrandfather emigrated to South Africa in 1861, but the family home in the Cape was always called Wexford, after my visit to Ireland I understood why. Kate Crisp (Kerwan)
