Hi Researchers, My great-grandmother, Catherine/Kate WATERS was born 16 May 1872/73 in Arthurstown, Battlestown, New Ross, Co Wexford. I have been unsuccessful finding her birth record. I think I did find her 2 sisters' birth records; Mary born Jan 1865 in Ramsgrange, New Ross. Parents listed as John & Joanna (MCFADDEN) WATERS Ellen born 8 July 1866 in Ramsgrange, New Ross. Parents listed as John & Joanna (FADDEN) WATERS. Notice how one birth record has MCFADDEN & the other is FADDEN My Catherine also had a brother, Edward born abt 1882. John & Joanna WATERS are listed as parents on my Catherine WATER's 16 Feb 1896 marriage in Boston, MA to Joseph BREEN. Joseph BREEN and his twin brother, William were born in Lambeth, Surrey, England 15 July 1872. Their parents were Thomas Francis & Ellen (OLDHAM) BREEN. It is quite possible that Thomas Francis BREEN was from Ireland. Hoping to find a connection. Dyane In MA.
