To all who have been talking about the surname STAFFORD in Rathangan, I have a letter from John Cody to his son Patrick in PEI, written in 1821. In that letter he mentions that a Walter Stafford, neighbor, is well. Is this Walter Stafford one of any of yours? I am trying to get more information about John, father of the emigrants Patrick and Mark. There were other siblings left behind, but he mentioned no names. Trying to tie John down.
