Hi Henry Stafford and Happy New year: I wish I could help you with your Staffords. However, I saw a familiar name in your latest note. My great grandfather Peter Quin(n) was a native of County Wexford and was born about 1808 in either Baldwinstown or Longridge in the Parish of Rathangan. He later married Catherine Pierce, also of Wexford. The Parish Registers of Rathangan show the baptisms of Peter's first four of their nine children - Thomas ( my grandfather), Bridget, Stephen and Patrick . It may be that Peter worked in the lime quarry at Rathyork (next to Baldwinstown). It is so seldom that one sees a familiar place name in the Wexford annals that I had to share some thoughts with you. Good luck on your search and thanks for listening.
