This is precisely the list I was talking about a few days ago when I mentioned I'd seen my ancestor's name on a list of people who intended to go to Canada: #478 Anthony Rudd with 8 members in his party. It was the first time I'd ever seen anything like this and I couldn't believe my eyes when he was there. There is also a Bradley. I once lived in Watertown, NY, which is just on the other side of the St. Lawrence River from Landsdowne/Gananoque where the Rudds settled. I visited several times, getting photos of all the tombstones, but I also met a Bradley. She was very elderly and gave me a box full of photos of my great grandparents and their parents and sibs. They lived on land owned by the Rudds and drove me around the farmlands showing me where Rudd homes and once stood. This was 25 years ago and they are long deceased. I wish I knew then what I know now; so many questions I would have asked.
