    3. Excuse aberration from genealogy. I've been trying to teach myself Irish very sporadically for 2 years via tapes and a book. I briefly subbed to beginning Irish learner's list. The US is rampant with dialects and colloquial idiosyncrasies.......but we cover a large geographical area. I am convinced there are as many dialects and colloquial idiosyncrasies on your small island as on our huge chunk of the North American continent. It is virtually impossible to learn to speak the language. I'm just getting to where I can read enough of it to get the gist. It makes for an interesting past time.......if I had the time to devote to it. Ellen Rudd (ancestors...Clone, Co.
