New subscriber. I am looking for information on James MURPHY and his father Francis MURPHY born somewhere in County Wexford. James was born around 1839 and immigrated to Portland, Maine by the mid 1860's. James' father was Francis and mother Mary (unknown). James had at least one brother named Francis who also came to the states. Would appreciate all available information (actual birth date, place in Co Wexford, emmigration date, parents full names,etc.)on James and Francis (his father) primarily and Francis and other siblings, if possible. If more information is available ,I would appreciate it. I am not sure if James' parents also came to the states. James was my great grandfather and married Bridget M. Grace in the states, I am sure. Bridget's parents P.S.grace and Ellen Curly came from some place in Ireland but she supposedly was born in Montreal, Canada. They had about 14 or 15 children. James and Bridget died in Hartford, CT, 1895 and 1908, respectively, as they lived in Hartford from aproximately 1872 until their death. Would really appreciate any help. Thank you .
