In 1656, during the Cromwellian Era, 28 men had 68,000 acres of land confiscated because they were Papists. The land formed the Barony of Gorey, in Wexford. Five of the men were named Waddick. Can anyone tell me where I might find any records for this? One of the men, Owen Waddick managed to have his land returned to him, but I am unable to find any historical documents recording the circumstances. Thanks for any suggestions. Peggy
